Cullen has offers from Michigan and Pittsburgh but is hoping for a tOSU offer after attending Junior Day and being blown away by everything. Coach Smith told him to be patient because tOSU takes their time with offers.

Pittsburgh junior adds two offers

Junior defensive back Cullen Christian (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) has doubled his scholarship offer total. Christian's first two scholarship offers came from Pitt and Michigan. Maryland and Central Michigan have now offered as well.

After playing on the junior varsity his sophomore year, the 6-foot-1 and 185-pound Christian moved into the Penn Hills starting lineup at cornerback at the beginning of his junior season. He made 35 tackles and intercepted two passes as he quickly established himself as a major college prospect.

"I might visit Michigan in the next week or two," Christian said. "Penn State wants me to come out for a spring practice. Maryland wants me to visit too. I want to visit the schools that have offered and some others I'm interested in."

Christian names Michigan, Maryland, Penn State and Ohio State as the schools he is most interested in at this point.

10. Cullen Christian, Penn Hills HS (Pittsburgh) CB- Needs to add weight to his 160-pound frame, but he has very good corner height at 6'0?. In addition to his nice height, he also has very long arms. Excellent speed. Raw player before his junior season as he was mostly a star track performer, but he currently has colleges drooling with is combination of speed, length and height. Early offers have come from Pitt, Michigan and Maryland.

At 6'1" 185lbs, junior Cullen Christian still has the speed and athleticism to cover with the best of them. The Penn Hills H.S. (PA) product is a big, swift CB with cover skills. Players like Cullen are a premium in college football being that there aren't too many of them.

"Michigan is currently my leader. They keep in touch with me the most as coaching staff. They make me feel the most needed and I feel they can make me better based on the many successful players they have turned out", Cullen said.

Sam Webb: Recruiting
U-M is leader for Pennsylvania cornerback

The Michigan Wolverines aren't strangers in Pennsylvania when it comes to recruiting. Their prowess in the state was on display again earlier this month when they plucked Army All American wideout Je'Ron Stokes out of Philadelphia on signing day.

Michigan is looking for a more bountiful harvest in 2010, and has already taken aim at many of the Keystone State's top prospects. One of U-M's most prominent targets to date is Pittsburgh Penn Hills High cornerback Cullen Christian.

The 6-foot-0, 175-pound youngster earned a reputation as a blanket cover man last season. His 35 tackles, two interceptions and four pass breakups garnered second-team all-conference honors. It's a performance made more impressive by his relative inexperience on the gridiron.
