OFFERS: Illinois, E. Michigan, & Kansas... INTEREST: Miami-FL, OSU, Wisconsin, Colorado, _ichigan, Michigan St., Miami-OH... The former ND coaches were recruiting Bryant pretty heavily but the new staff hasn't contacted him yet other than some letters... Thinks he'll end up at OG in college which is fine with him... No leader, no timetable...

Scout $ - Michigan Football Showcase (Line Standouts)
    Sam Webb of GoBlueWolverine.com, Mar 1, 2010

This author sees one area that needs improvement - his technique... Otherwise, describes Bryant as the best lineman in attendance due to his superior strength & athleticism... Won nearly every one on one matchup he was in...

Comments from Trieu, Bill Greene, & Dave Berk... Built like an OG but athletic enough to play OT... Great 1st punch, really strong, very coachable...

OFFERS: Illinois, E. Michigan, Kansas... INTEREST: Arizona, Miami-FL, Ohio State, & Michigan St... Distance won't be a factor but the academics & getting prepared for the NFL are... Grew up a fan of the Canes & they're recruiting him... Plans to take his visits... No leader, no time table...

Bryant has the size & strength to compete with the best but he could firm up a bit... He's athletic & plays with a lot of "pop"... His technique is very good & he's very coachable... Should see his offer list blow up after his showing...

Do you guys think he's being offered as a potential LT?

Hopefully, Tackle is a huge position of need.

  11. The teammate wade mentioned has the LT measurables, so I would guess that he is the LT and Bryant is the RT. That's not to say Bryant couldn't necessarily play LT, but he's probably more likely a RT/G.

At 6'-5", 330, Bryant is the perfect size for a NFL Right Tackle:)

An old article (from March), but I like the bolded above. Sounds like he's not bound to home school Illinois, we're his first big time offer, still no offer from his childhood favorite, and despite already having 4 OL's already committed, he would be the only for sure T if he were to come here (Tommy Brown could play inside or outside).

Looking forward to this offer becoming official.

OSU told him they are looking at him as a guard...which leads me to believe that one of Underwood/Brown/Carter has the potential to start out his OSU career on defense...

By BK...OSU just started recruiting him this week...says he will still consider OSU despite the late start...has offers from Michigan, Illinois, Stanford, Arizona, Minnesota, Kansas, Memphis and Western Kentucky and says OSU has let him know they will get back to him within a week.
