'11 MI PG Brandan Kearney (Michigan State Verbal)

I would have to expect then that the following receive offers then:

PG Marquis Teague
PG Chasson Randle
W Brandan Kearnay
F Percy Gibson
F/C Zach Price

Kearney has been said to have a game much like Turner's. I like these combo 1/2 guards we bring in (Turner, Lenny Smith, hopefully Kearnay), esecially when we don't quite have a "true" point guard to rely on, though Offutt and Craft should provide solid depth at the position.

We've been on Kearnay for a while. Looks like the added attention is paying off.

I don't know that I compare Kearney to Turner...Turner is a point forward not a 1/2 combo...

kearney is a guy that can handle the ball, but not the great creator of a Turner, but he can score the ball...

I feel best about Kearney and Price right now for that class...

Guess he made a visit to Ann Arbor right after Columbus, and sounds like he likes it up there a whole lot:

Brandan Kearney

The call came in around 10pm last night. The unofficial visit to Michigan for Detroit Southeastern sophomore?s Brandan Kearney and Percy Gibson had just ended and the phoned GoBlueWolverine to dish on the experience. Judging from their excitement, it?s clear that John made a profound impression on the talented youngsters. In part I, Kearney?s father gives his thoughts on the memorable trip.

Interesting that this writer has them as a wing player when we have him as a PG. If his height is correct at 6'4", it sounds like he would be more of a wing player. Not saying you can't be 6'4" and not play PG because that would be a nice size if he has the handle.

He is going to end up on the wing...Hopefully Cook, or someone else in that class will be the pg...He can handle the ball well form the wing position tho...

Nice to see the offer finally go out because we have a decent shot at him. It will will be another battle with to school up north for Brandan. We really need to get an offer out to his best friend Gibson because I think they will be going to college together this not as a package deal.
