'11 OH ATH Shane Wynn (Indiana Signee)

This is going to sound silly, but when Shane get in the open field, his stride is very similar to a Ex-Glenville, Ex-Buckeye, first round draft pick to whom he is not to be compared, because he is only 15.

Oh for the day when Stow will no longer have to bite his lip, and will once again bring "the truth.":)

The scouting ohio site with Wynn's video now lists him as 5-10, and 175 lbs.

PS-Glenville's O-Line looked HUGE!!

Unless Wynn has done some major growing since the end of the season, I would call that a huge a exaggeration. He is more like 5-6, 5-7. No way he's 175 either.

One of the top sophomores in Ohio....Sophomore starter at WR....Saw varsity playing time at RB as a freshman for the most talented program in Ohio....Very quick. Compares favorably to former Tarblooder Raymond Small at the same stage....Excels as a return man....Being compared to former Glenville and current Ohio State player Ray Small....4.29 shuttle as a freshman

What happens in O-H, stays in I-O..

This kid is one of my favorite prospects in this entire class. Once word gets out on this guy, I really hope he likes us more than he likes them...

But, to be honest, I hope word doesn't get out....

'11 will be interesting in that there are 2 small dynamos in the state of Ohio in Wynn and Tyler Williams. Both at Buck friendly programs as well. Hopefully both of these guys continue to develop to the point that they get real consideration from OSU.

Very glad to hear that quote from Wynn, sounds like a Buckeye all the way. His size is not a factor at all, IMO.

I would disagree. He might be 5'7, and can't be more than 150 pounds. He's probably done growing height-wise, and how much can you pack on a 5'6/5'7 frame?

IMO, he's just too small. We don't recruit players of his size.

Size is always a factor. The only guy I can think of Tressel recruiting around his size was Mo Wells. Shane is still young though. He might not be done growing.

Really you think so? He's only just through his sophomore year. I kept growing till my freshman year in college. He'll never be 6 foot, but he could get to 5'9 or 5'10. Everyone's different of course.

You don't have to build the team around shorter/lighter players like a Rich Rodriguez/Michigan team. I think smaller guys feel they have a lot to prove. If they are explosive, you don't turn down the Garrett Wolfs, Trindon Holidays, and Noel Devines.

He should get an offer no matter his measurables.
