'12 IL OL Jordan Diamond (Auburn Signee)

I would normally have posed this question in the rumor mill since we are in the recruiting forum and such talk is prohibited here but................taking a cue from the mods it must be very well known that Diamond is on the take. So that being the case here's my question..

I'm sure the OSU staff got bad vibe$ from Diamond. I'm sure the other midwestern teams such as Michigan got bad vibe$ from Diamond. I'm also sure that Arkansas who had Diamond for an official also got bad vibe$ from Diamond. Now, Arkansas is in the SEC and they may (although you never know what the erratic and moody Petrino will do) abide by the code of silence on this matter, however I highly doubt any of the Big Ten team coaches feel such loyalty. Having said all of this, I'm sure Auburn feels very confident they can keep everything concealed since they are Pros at such things since they have their secret under the table society in place. Look at remarkable job they did hiding the Cam Newton situation.

In a nutshell it seems to me that Auburn is arrogantly playing with fire with Diamond'$ recruitment because they feel bullet proof at the present time. However, I have a feeling Diamond$ recruitment could really be the iceburg that sinks there ship going forward since there is so much public knowledge about Diamonds request$....I personally don't think we've heard the last of this.....

What do you guys think?

Not to beat a dead horse here :horse: but does anybody feel this will come back to haunt Auburn since it is such public knowledge that Diamond is on the take. I can't help but wonder when not if.

The NCAA couldn't find the Auburn/'Bama money trails if they had Lester Freamon up on a wire.

Which was the lesson from the tat gate situation.

If you are going to cheat, just make sure you do a good job at it and never admit anything to the NCAA and there's not a thing they can do about it.

Some basic cheating 101- like permanently delete incriminating e-mails, and Jim Tressel would still be the head coach at Ohio State.

Cheating 201 is not turning yourself in when you do find the e-mails that should have been deleted in the first place and deleting them at that time.

Lesson learned. Nice job, NCAA.

Ohio State runs an Exchange email system, there is no such thing as deleting an email to hide it. He should've used an external email account.

[PSA] If you have a work email address, don't use it to send/receive emails that can get you in trouble, and by no means use it for interaction outside of work related activities. Email provided by an employer is their property, not yours.

Perhaps you can teach the "cheating 101" series of classes, then.
