Bogard can play corned and safety too

Bogard's a straight safety IMO... He won't be a CB in college. Doesn't have the hips or speed for CB...

Bradley's a big, muscular kid... The staff may want to get an eyeball test with him to see what they think of his frame. Hopefully he comes up to a JR day.

received offer from Pitt
this is probably the school he ends up at. his cousin Nicholas Grisby( they say they brothers) signed last month with them. they do want to play together. Pitt definately has the upper hand over ALL the schools now. OSU probably sealed the deal by not offering Grisby who probably was the best LB in state after Depriest. Pitt got a steal. he picked them over Kentucky,Kansas,Michigan, Michigan State,Colorado,Syracuse and Cincy among others.

Starting to think that he just may not get an offer...I know it's very early, but just throwing out a gut opinion. Especially if the staff thinks Deon Bush is going to give us a serious look. I had a buddy who saw Bam play a number of times that said while he was a great hitter and a physical presence, his coverage wasn't as tight as my buddy hoped. Also, he said he didn't think Bam was quite as athletic as other DB's he's seen. Called him the next Aaron Gant. Since I've never seen him, what do you guys think of the comparison?

I know this is going to be unpopular but...

Personally, I don't see OSU offering (and it has nothing to do with what high school he's from). I think Jarrod Wilson is the closest to seeing an offer as a safety in-state, but the staff has obviously targeted some DBs from Florida and will probably chase those guys initially. Bam is a great player and a sure-fire Big 10 recruit, but I don't know that he fits in with Coach Heacock's defensive scheme.

There's also a chance he might be looked at being a LB in our system, rather than a S. We're in on some OUTSTANDING LBs in this class and because of last year's haul, it's not a need and not a position we're gonna offer a lot of schollies for this year. We will be super selective there this year and rightfully so.

The guys we're offering schollies at DB right now look faster than Bam on film. Watch Deon Bush's film and compare. 4 schollies out to Florida kids. Could be a factor in his getting a scholarship or not.

The staff is well aware of Bam. He's not a "Plan B" recruit, but I think he's a summer time/camp offer at the latest. Remember y'all: it's still just February. 12 months until signing day.

I'm with WAD...no offer because they have targetted 3 OOS guys they like better. IMO we get at least 1 Florida safety.

This. And I hope it's Bush. Although, I've started watchin some more of Bam's film and he flashes some similarities to Jermale Hines. Hines was a bigger safety who succeeded well for Heacock. And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he come in as a linebacker originally? So I think Bam could succeed here, but like brutus2002 said, they just think some other guys are better.
