Hate to even mention it considering the magnitude of what's happening at PSU right now. But would have to assume PSU is not a viable candidate at this point. Stanford could be tough to beat.

Stanford might be a player here but Pitt will always be tough to beat...

Trotwood sweeps D-II district player of the year honors

Trotwood-Madison standout players Michael Simpson and George ?Bam? Bradley swept the Associated Press Southwest All-District football team?s highest Division II honors on Monday. It was a fitting tribute to the pair following a 10-0 regular season. And for coach Maurice Douglass?

"The only honor I want is to be hoisting the big trophy at the end of the year," he said.

Simpson, a quarterback, was named D-II's offensive player of the year. Bradley, a safety, is the defensive player of the year.

Bradley, 6 feet 2, 215 pounds, is among the nation’s most sought-after recruits. Centerville defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo and Bradley both will make official visits to Standford University this weekend. Bradley also includes Ohio State, Pitt and Penn State — before last week — as his final four. Simpson is being recruited by mid-level D-I programs.

And that's why you don't get your recruiting news from the newspapers...Ifeadi will be in Columbus this weekend.
