'13 IN LB Tim Kimbrough (Georgia Verbal)

Something tells me, we will be hearing and reading about this kid doing great things at another program. Sounds like a great kid. Wish him the best of luck where ever he goes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Tim is coming to the spring game. Maybe he'll get an offer while he's there.

Depends if any of our other LBs have committed elsewhere by then. Smith, Love and Anzalone all of committable offers for guys that have not committed elsewhere (Gedeon had one too, but he is off the board to Michigan). If these guys go, Kimbrough would probably be next on the list.

Hope this is the case. Right now we seem to be tied atop Anzalone's leader list with Florida and PSU and we seem to be slightly behind ND for Smith. If one of those two does not work out I would love to have Kimbrough.

Warren Central High School senior-to-be linebacker Tim Kimbrough might not be close to making a college choice yet, but he does have an early favorite among schools that have offered scholarships.

Kimbrough and his parents are planning a second unofficial visit to Georgia on July 13.

"That's my top school right now, and I'm just going to take a lot more visits," Kimbrough said.

He received offers from Arizona State and Syracuse last week and has offers from all the Big Ten schools except Ohio State, Michigan and Northwestern. He also has offers from Florida, Oklahoma and Arkansas, among others.

Kimbrough's defensive coordinator, Steve Tutsie, was named the Warriors' interim head coach Thursday.

"He's been running everything already, so we were (already) looking at him as a head coach," Kimbrough said

Just don't get the no offer here with the state of our LB recruiting (lost Anzalone and Neal, likely for good, and looking bleak on Jaylon Smith). Honestly, I don't see any LB we are sitting well with at this point...I'm really hoping Tim gets an OSU offer.

I think we are in good shape at LB. We have Williams, Marcus and Perkins arriving this fall. Perry and Roberts got spring reps. Burger is a preferred Walk on. I'm a little more concerned about CB depth than LB at this point.
