'13 KY DE Jason Hatcher (USC Decommit)

Hatcher still solidly USC but plans visits

Another Trinity star, defensive end Jason Hatcher, said Friday that he remains solid in the commitment he made to Southern California in July but will visit other schools in order to fully explore his options.

?I?m talking to Florida, I?m talking to (Ohio) State, talking to Tennessee, talking to U of L, but I?m still a solid USC commit,? he said.

He said he would probably take official visits to those four schools as well as to USC, and he said the Trojans? coaches are aware of his intentions.

Hatcher (6-2, 240), who?s ranked as the nation?s No. 213 senior by Rivals.com, has been to U of L?s home games against UK and North Carolina on unofficial visits.

Jason Hatcher joining James Quick at OSU
October, 3, 2012
By Jared Shanker | ESPN.com

Ohio State has been trying to get ESPN 150 receiver James Quick (Louisville, Ky./Trinity) on campus for quite some time. He will be there this weekend for the Nebraska game.

And he will bring some company, too.

Quick's Trinity teammate Jason Hatcher, a member of the ESPN 300 and a USC commit, will travel with Quick to Columbus as both make unofficial visits.

Hatcher confirmed to ESPN.com in a text message he will visit the Buckeyes unofficially Saturday.

Further proof that what these kids say in interview is worthless. He was raving about his USC visit afterwards talking about the family atmosphere and how tight he was with the other recruits...and then decommits a day later.
