BN $ - 4-Star Talking Three OSU Visits

3/7

By BK...interest in OSU started when Jamal Marcus signed...knew Coach W from UNC...no favorites but has a couple of visits to Columbus planned.

Going to start adding names to the spring game visitors list...

Josh's potential has turned him into an elite recruit. #5 TE in the new Scout 300. Mike Heuerman is #9.

Two things stood out to me about Josh's video.

1. He has excellent hands for a guy who's generally new to football. He has to go up and get almost 50% of the passes he snags in this highlight clip. 2. The athleticism. He makes some really nice open field moves for a guy his size and thickness. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he pushes for a top 3 in the nation TE slot. He's raw and exceptional now. With a little polish...watch out. Love Heuerman, but if I had to pick one, I'd take McNeil.

set his decision date for May 25th but rethinking whether he wants to decide then...Fla, GA, tOSU and Miami are recruiting the hardest

Gators offer N.C. tight end McNeil
April, 3, 2012
By Derek Tyson

GAINESVILLE, Fla. --Florida, Florida State and Pittsburgh are just a few top colleges to recently offer Durham (N.C.) Hillside HS tight end Josh McNeil.

The 6-foo-4, 235-pound athlete committed to East Carolina in November but quickly opened things back up after receiving offers from larger BCS schools.

Though McNeil remains wide-open, he says the Florida offer will put the Gators in his list of top schools when he narrows things down.
