Lakewood St. Edward pushed its winning streak to 18 Saturday night by defeating Youngstown Cardinal Mooney 34-17 in Ohio high school action. Junior safety Solomon Warfield was impressive in the win, exhibiting a physical presence in the defensive backfield. He spoke to Scout.com following the action.

Interview With Solomon

This interview was conducted over the phone with Solomon.

Q: How do you like playing for your high school team?
Solomon: I love playing for my high school, so much competition makes it fun and were always playing good teams so that's a plus.
Q: What schools are looking at you?
Solomon: Most of the big ten (OSU), BG, Toledo, Arizona, West V, Indiana, Syracuse, NC State and a couple others.
Q:What did you talk to OSU about?
Solomon: We talked about the team and how it was good and discussed things i need to do to get there.
Q: What schools are you leaning towards?
Solomon: I dont really have a favorite school but Arizona, Michigan, Toledo and BG.
Q: What do you want in a program?
Solomon: A place I know i will fit in and play, a school that cares a lot about grades and great coaches/players
Q: Whats your opinion of Ohio State?
Solomon: I always loved it, its my dream school, great place to play football and to be a student!
Q: Weight room numbers?
Solomon: 300 bench, squat is 380.
Q: How are your grades?
Solomon: Grades are good I have a 3.0 right now.
