14 Buckeyes Drafted..15 if Bishop goes

well considering it has been nearly a decade since a team went back to back, and i'm not sure how long again before that, i think winning it all is MUCH easier said than done...

after all, had not that ball hit Nate Clements in the back on that punt play in '98, or Springs slipped in '96, the Buckeyes might still have Coop as the coach and a couple Titles in the '90s... it is MUCH easier to sit at your computer and say that the team should overcome those mistakes, and not use them as excuses, than to actually go out there and be PERFECT. perfection doesn't happen too often...

you MUST give Miami the credit that they are due... even with only one title during thier current run... if you don't, you are only selling the Buckeyes short. we beat the best team in a LONG time that night in Tempe... maybe the most talent ever assembled...

not to mention, if in two more seasons, the Buckeyes have a 46-4 four year record, and only one title, i sure as hell won't be bitching... at least as long as those 4 Ls aren't against scUM...

lv,

we are essentially saying the same thing.....i am not making excuses for the 90's buckeyes and the canes shouldnt either....

either way....the two best programs of the past decade....period....

and i did say that i absolutely RESPECT the canes as a football team....

i am not making excuses for springs or clements and there should be no excuses for a moss fumble or berlin being the qb.....thats my point....

It finally took this weekend for Miami fans to realize that they weren't beaten by an untalented , slow, overacheiving Big10 team. Many of them are now simply realizing what us buckeye fans have known all along, that they were beaten by the better team in Tempe.
