The way Jones and Okafor are still talking a for sure package deal, I would say MSU, OSU and Duke have the inside track to landing the talented pair. Those are the 3 schools they have in common that repeatedly get mentioned during their recruiting update interviews (KU....maybe the only other).

KU has a ton of talented prospects coming in these next two years already. They will play immediately regardless of where they go, don't get me wrong, but MSU and Duke worry me most b/c they both talk like they hold coach Izzo and coach K in such high regard. Don't get that same fuzzy feeling when they discuss Ohio State, especially from Jones.

Is Peak still an option for OSU? Haven't heard much about him since the announcement that he's going back to SC and leaving Whitney Young (and Okafor) to finish up his HS career.

OSU has stopped recruiting Jones, per his mother. Time to move the thread of Tyus Jones off-topic. Reports are he favored Duke well before this point anyway. Probably explains the offer to Kaleb Joseph - OSU still is willing to take a PG in this class and would like one. Hard to explain why OSU stopped recruiting Jones though - perhaps he told them they wouldn't get an official visit due to Russell, who knows.
