Mikel should be the top RB in Ohio for the class of 2014 and one of the top overall recruits in the state. One to watch for sure.

Mikel won 2nd place for the weekend, just behind '13 Ohio State commit Cam Burrows (#1) and just ahead of all-world athlete, and another '13 Ohio State commit, Jalin Marshall (#3) - as well as ahead of a host of other top BCS 2013 recruits. Mikel was the only 2014 recruit to crack the top 10. Very impressive.

Mikel won 6th place at this camp, one spot ahead of '13 Ohio State defensive back commit Cam Burrows. Cited for being a tough runner, legitimate pass catcher, and surprisingly quick feet for his size.

Rivals $: Horton Ready to Blow Up

Again, more praise for Horton from this weekend's camp. Impressed in every single facet of the game at running back and speaks to his recruiting heating up. States Notre Dame, Ohio State and Boston College (among others that were not named) have been by recently. Did attend the Ohio State spring game, and has a nice quote that would lead many to believe he wants to play his college ball in Columbus.

Any idea what type of stats he put up this year?

Sounds like a terrific talent.

Per his Rivals Profile, 150 attempts for 662 yards (4.4avg) & 9 TDs

His stats don't seem like much because their team ran a lot with a number of RBs. He was the leading rusher but 2 other RBs had 339 and 542yds individually. 3 other RBs individually had, 196, 130 and 143yds. That's spreading it around. Im sure he will put up bigger numbers this fall and his coaching staff will use him primarily. Their passing game was nonexistent
