'15 OH F Carlton Bragg (Kansas Signee, transfer to Arizona State, transfer to New Mexico)

everybody is going to want bragg. i wouldn't be surprised if carlton ends up being the highest rated recruit on our board of legitimate prospects. matta's task is great.

a growing 6'9" player who can shoot the 3, handle the ball, and dish the dime? yeah... that's a good player. matta will beat everyone if bragg signs for us.

Bragg could be the next pro from Ohio, maybe the one Matta needs to help put them over the top for the NC when you look at the makings of a strong 2014 class to go along with a couple really good 2013 recruits, and what could/should be another great and big class in 2015. Bragg is definitely a key recruit for OSU.

@mpodo

Now is a great time for Carlton Bragg, a junior-to-be at Villa Angela-St. Joseph.

The 6-foot-9 forward helped lead the Vikings to their fifth state championship last March, and Bragg's offseason has been just as sweet.

At this weekend's Bill Hensley Spiece Run-N-Slam Classic, Bragg added another offer to what is becoming a large stack when another came in from Indiana University, according to multiple reports. He also has offers from Ohio State, Cleveland State, West Virginia, Illinois, Cincinnati, Missouri and Texas. Other schools reportedly interested include Kentucky, Duke and Wisconsin.

The more that I watch, the more he looks like he could fit well at SF in college. He could be a pro at the SF position if he keeps working hard at it. He's drawn a couple comparisons to Durant due to his body type and athleticism.

Recent tweet regarding his recruitment:

Not sure why Bo Ryan even bothers to offer Bragg - I don't think Bo has a snowball's chance to get an out-of-state guy for whom running the floor is a strength. I guess Bo's gotta shoot off his pop gun to let people know he's still alive.

Carlton Bragg is a top-25 2015 prospect. (247 Sports)

A year ago at this time, Carlton Bragg wasn't really on the recruiting radar. After a stellar summer with the Ohio Basketball Club AAU team, though, Bragg began to hear from some bigger schools.

Now, Bragg is one of the top 25 prospects in the class of 2015 and continues to boost his recruitment.

?I'm working on my game a lot,? Bragg said over the weekend. ?I'm taking people off the dribble. Playing defense. Running the floor better than I was. I'm just having fun. It's good exposure. I'm trying to get my name out there right now.?

It seems that colleges across the country already know all about the 6-foot-8 power forward from Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Ohio).

Bragg holds offers from West Virginia, Cleveland State, Illinois, Ohio State, Xavier, DePaul and others, while Missouri, Oklahoma, Duke, North Carolina and NC State have expressed interest.

Ohio State and Illinois are two of the schools coming at him the hardest.

?I'm just in the process of getting recruited,? Bragg said. ?I want a school that welcomes me, and I [have to] like their style of play.?

Bragg is No. 22 in the 247 Sports Composite rankings.
