EAST LANSING -- Detroit Consortium sophomore Josh Jackson has let his play on the court do the talking all season.

After scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to lead Detroit Consortium to its first ever Class C title with a 61-44 win over Pewamo-Westphalia, Josh Jackson broke a season-long silence with the media to vocalize just how happy and relieved he was to win.

When I recently got my haircut they had a replay of this game on the TV. I was wondering who number 11 was and now I know. For a sophomore he looked good... and he had what was missing this year, a good shot from beyond the arc. Just based on his speed and lateral movement he seemed more of a 3 than a 2 in the college game to me. But WTF do I know, I am definitely not a scout. Of course, he is only a sophomore and will get quicker over the next two years.
