Horton-Tucker does not yet have an Ohio State offer, but that could change after the visit. The 6-foot-5 prospect from Chicago hoops powerhouse Simeon is a three-star prospect in the 247Sports composite ratings.

He's rated as a small forward, but seems to play more like a bigger combo guard in the mold of a JaQuan Lyle (but with a little more bounce). Check out his highlight video below:

According to the majority of recruiting sites, this recruit does have an Ohio State offer.

Corey Evans reported the OSU offer on Twitter on 6/30, so any site that doesn't list an offer to Talen may not have been updated recently.

He does have a good frame, he may be college-ready size & strength-wise now. But it is also unusual to see a wing type that plays as much below the rim as he does. Maybe Chris is thinking he could develop some of those Roosevelt Jones moves.

I did see a report that OSU coach(es) were at THT's AAU game recently. Could be wrong but he may be the only uncommitted SF they are on for 2018 now.

I do not want to say that you are wrong because two offers might have come after your post but there is Little and Ahrens that have verbal offers.

yep. i'd throw in finke, too, as a target for that same scholarship. though listed by some as a small forward, i think ledee has grown into more of a power forward.

Talen is racking up scholarship offer, 4 reported today, including Georgetown, Dayton, Georgia Tech and New Mexico. I have noticed he has some CB's to MSU ... he does have the look of a classic Izzo great 4-yr player.

The three finalists for Horton-Tucker are Illinois, Iowa State, and Xavier. All three of the schools received official visits, and now all will try to battle it out for his commitment.
