i can find no source other than http://www.jucorecruiting.com/yuatalok that announces ohio state's offer; however, this appears good enough for the time being. jucorecruiting's twitter profile stated that alok will wait until spring to take visits and then announce. alok's other recent offers from notable programs: xavier, vt, unlv, ncsu, byu, baylor, lsu, and wichita state.

i was suspicious of the offer (if, in fact, there is an offer) until i watched the video. as you noted, there is much to like. all of these offers before his sophomore season tell me that he's going to blow up.

yeah, the numbers aren't great, but he moves really well for a guy his size and seems to have a good motor. given that a player like that could be a physical presence and asset on D, he makes a good complement to less athletic/physical but more offensively polished players like Potter and Kaleb.

I think this is an excellent find by Holtmann and his staff. This kid has another season to improve his skills which I think are pretty good looking at the video. Put 30-40 lbs. on the kid and he will be a very solid Big Ten player. Hope that we have offered him especially with the lack of big man in Ohio next year.
