Guessing Holtmann has his hooks pretty well in on this one with his Indy connections. For reference- same school as Terry McClaurin and Pete Werner.

Good chance I'll check him out in a couple weeks as my former school may be set to play his team in the City tournament semifinals.

* Armaan Franklin, CG (Indianapolis): Franklin doesn't have a composite rating, but in 247Sports' own rankings, the 6-foot-4 Franklin is the No. 105 player in the class and the No. 13 combo guard in the country. Holtmann visited with Franklin on Monday. He's held an OSU offer since an unofficial visit to Columbus back in January.

Franklin is among a handful of OSU’s 2019 targets who have been to the Columbus campus already.

“I visited there once and then they came to see me,” Franklin said. “I plan to go back there in either May or June. I really like Ohio State. What Coach Holtmann was able to do there in his first year, that was really impressive. I want to see what he can do in the future.”

Asked how the Ohio State staff planned to use him, Franklin said, “They see me as a taller combo guard who can play on or off the ball. I think I could really help with that.”

Brian Snow thinks Xavier leads for Franklin and became more certain of that after Franklin visited OSU for the second time.

I know that you follow basketball recruiting much closer than myself and you are much more in the know than me but I just do not understand the above. A recruit visits a school twice and so that makes another school the leader for his services
