Not necessarily a "must-get", but Mitchell is definitely a bellwether for where we are going as a program. He isn't much different in style from Bazley and Ahrens, so he might be redundant, but at the same time, he is the highest-rated guy in Ohio for a pretty solid class. A consensus top-30, it just doesn't bode well if he opts for a West Virginia, Florida, or Kansas (let alone another B1G program). I haven't seen enough to gauge his prospects for the future, but he's intriguing to say the least.

I was wondering about Jordan and found this little nugget in my search to find out more about Tyrell Terry
Mitchell, a four-star forward out of Columbus (OH), holds offers from Ohio State, Florida, and Iowa. From what I've been told, the first two schools seem to be laying off a bit, and there's a mutual interest between Mitchell and the Hawkeyes. I'm not sure how much the Iowa coaches watched Mitchell the first two live periods, so I'm interested to see where things stand as the AAU season progresses.

yeah, this one appears dead in the water. haven't heard anything about him from osu's side in many months. ho1tmann never re-upped the offer like he did with francis, hunter, and cohill, so i doubt the offer still exists. mitchell is playing (or played) for a florida aau team on the nike circuit, but all i see from him over 3 games in april is 39 minutes, 4 points, and pretty much nothing else. i also don't think he did much for #1 and undefeated montverde last season.

I think he was injured for a long stretch this year. But I do think any interest has fallen by the wayside as the new staff has been working on a lot of other targets instead. The last two signings for this class are not likely to have Ohio ties.
