Watson, Crick & A Twist
This is one that is great.
Viva Eddie!
The first of back to back victories for the Buckeyes in a home and home series for which both fan bases had been waiting oh some 60 odd years.
Payback for the Buckeyes in a big way in Columbus for what transpired many decades before.
The birth or strengthening of one legend in the part of Eddie George.
The stillborn end to another legend -
"He'll win 4 Heismans when he's through" - Beano Cook
The one, the incomparable Ron Powlus.
Who looked good till getting his clockwork like play unsprung by Springs.
There are plays aplenty in this game, on both sides of the ball, from both teams.
Ohio State came out of the game the first Buckeye team to beat ND.
ND came out hoping for better things the following year - well, that didn't work out as planned by Holtz and company. :)
Anyway - a GREAT game and a huge Buckeye win - which began a string of consecutive victories over the Fighting Irish.
This likely also restored order to the known Universe.
If you can't enjoy this game then there really isn't any hope for you.
Taken from VHS supplied by Clarity - coming in at a misely 1.4GB, a .AVI file (Xvid/DiVX type) and certainly one of my favorites.
Copy onto a DVD as you would data. Or, if you want it to be a DVD-Video you might get this to work via DVDFlick or your favorite DVD authoring program - (thank Hodge for that tidbit).
Go Bucks!
