Already seeing talk of having to play a flawless game for OSU to win. Clemson is going to be the hardest game to date, no doubt, but I think it's straight up insulting to phrase it that way. This isn't some mismatch game, it's 2 really talented teams going at it.

I just don't get what people wanted to see from OSU to be convinced they can hang. First it's to dominate a 'quality opponent'. Wisconsin. Second it's to be tested. PSU, TTUN. Then it's to be way down and see how the team reacts. B10 title game. When one team is down 21-7 to #9 and then drives a semi through their house to the tune of 27 unanswered...I think that tells you all you need to know.

Whatever. Pile it on. We'll see who can get it done when the game comes.

Thought I’d add a touch of analysis to game and where I hope OSU can win.

Statistically speaking, and it’s pretty remarkable, Clemson’s defense rates better than last year. Now, and even Clemson fans would agree, their schedule was significantly softer this year.

Clemson had to replace 9 starters on defense and are a much younger unit this year. In some ways, this defense is 1 year ahead of schedule.

Not a super in depth analysis, but more of a 20,000 foot view.

Weakside DE - Logan Rudolph - RS Soph - 6’4” 245 lbs
DT - Tyler Davis - True Frost - 6’2” 295 lbs
DT - Nyles Pinckney- JR - 6’1” 295 lbs
SSDE - Xavier Thomas - Soph - 6’2” 260 lbs

Right away, you see the lack of experience. But you also see a relatively small, based on weight defensive line. It’s important to note that the offenses they’ve played this year haven’t been statistically good. When you combine Clemson’s ability to get out ahead and hide from teams on scoreboard, you notice teams have had to abandon their run game early.

If there is 1 weakness on Clemson I think we can absolutely exploit, it’s their defense line in the run game. The key, IMO, is to make sure we don’t get behind early, and then feel forced to abandon the run.

Between Dobbins, and then our run blocking ability, it should be the focus of our offense. I think Dobbins has the chance to have a really special night.

I thought we were a little too cute in first half against Wisky. I don’t want cute against Clemson. I want our large, and elite offensive line, moving bodies.

We kept doing the clap and reset bs and then right before snap Wisconsin was shifting the DL and slanting. If we went fast I think we could of gashed them early.

I might be an old little league coach. We are predictable a lot. Pistol is a run. When Dobbins is lined up weak side in the spread we’d run to strong side and when he was on strongside we’d pass. We did it over and over..

Andrew Lind reporting on Twitter that OSU will be in the home scarlet with the 1968 Grey sleeves.

This is my favorite OSU Jersey

Tweet right above that also says "Furthermore, there’s also a chance the Buckeyes return to the old sleeve stripe full-time next fall with several of Nike’s top-tier programs moving to the new Vapor Fusion template."

EDIT: Frickin' @Dryden with the speedy keyboard fingers...
