'20 KS SG Zach Harvey (Cincinnati Verbal)

Think you’ve got to recruit with the assumption that Carton will be one and done.

I really like Carton, but I don't see him as a likely one and done. He's a good athlete, but not like a Mike Conley or other smallish PG's that go early in the draft. Now, obviously if he averages 18 ppg and 8 apg, then that might change things, but I just don't see that kind of frosh year from him. If he did leave after 1 year, we'd have a senior Walker and the junior "combo" guards to man the PG position and we'd likely be recruiting a PG (Penn) in the '20 class anyway, so not what I'd call panic mode.

I will say this for Harvey in relation to what we should have on the roster... he is a T50 guy, and a high quality, versatile 3-level scorer on the wing. I am not sure if we have that on the roster. In fact, that was my major remaining concern after we got Carton. Maybe Washington develops into that. Maybe Ahrens does. But both those guys have a lot of developing to do in terms of driving, finishing, and mid-range to get to where Harvey is already at in terms of his overall offensive game.

The article focuses more on Harvey as a player and what kind of style he likes to play. It doesn't really mentions what schools are in a good position with him or anything like that, just points out where the Crystal Balls are for him at the moment.

Four-star guard Zach Harvey will reclassify to the 2020 recruiting class, he tells 247Sports.

"I just felt like it was the best decision for me, especially while remaining eligible for 2019 still," Harvey said. "It gives me more time to look into school and choose the best fit for me."

Harvey, who recently transferred to Napa (Calif.) Prolific Prep, was originally in the 2019 recruiting class. He was ranked No. 50 overall in the 247Sports Composite Rankings and No. 42 overall in the Top247.
