From the O-Zone:

hey kirk, quick question for you. If the Buckeyes win convincingly enough in their bowl game, given they play like they did against the school up north, and considering that the whole team is coming back intact next year minus a couple seniors ( nothing productive except Fox) will the polls be kind to them next year or what?

KIRK HERBSTREIT
You bring up a good point for OSU and other teams, about the importance of bowl games. Not only to finish strong this year, but for preseason rankings. As we all know, those preseason rankings are HUGE. Just ask Auburn fans. I also agree that OSU's returning team in '05, on paper anyway, looks to be a contender for a Big Ten championship. I just found out today that Mike Tirico, Lee Corso, Jill Arrington and myself are doing the Ohio State game. I look forward to doing that game.

I've always been a Herbstreit backer. He's totally objective is his analysis, which will naturally cause some grief to overzealous Buckeye fans at times. Although he picked Michigan to win The Game, you know in his heart he was happy as hell to have been wrong.

Only on an OSU board would Herbie get more love than Jill Arrington...

I still miss Melissa Stark though. :shake:

What's the over and under on the number of times they mention MoC?
If this incident never happened I bet we coulda still set it at 3 and still had people on both sides. Seeing as how we have no rusher over 400 yards this season and the fact that he caused a lot of shit even before this.

I dunno if I could set it at 7 (different conversations) and get takers for the under.
