written by Buckskin86 (9/24/2004)

BP will keep track of HS performances of student-athletes that tOSU is recruiting for the 2005 class. Hopefully this can be a community project. Feel free to send me a PM or add additional info below that might have been missed. I will give credit to whoever posts or sends the info first.

FL QB Carlton "CJ" Jackson and OLineman Ronnie "Taz" Wilson ELY
CJ had a 67 yd TD pass and 2 point conversion
Taz commenting on ELY's high number of off-side penalties
Taz in Sun-Sentinel said:
"It's very frustrating," said Wilson, a two-way player. "We're trying to go out three-and-out on defense, and with silly penalties like that, we can't achieve that. It doesn't make any sense."

Taz in Miami Herald said:
''[It] was the hard count,'' Ely lineman Ronnie Wilson said. ``That's it. That's all they give you. And they were listening for the snap. I moved once. I didn't even jump offsides, and [the officials] called it on me. It's simple stuff that we shouldn't even have.''
