If indeed this is a true statement, you should take photos of one fo their games and post them here. We'd all love to see pics of this fact... sorry if I'm a little suspicious but there's too many out there that would make this up just to sound cool. How would you stop ginn on an inbound play, or as he flew around the court getting picks set for him? Or is he just at shooting?
i dont see how his football speed would give him that much of an advantage in bball.

i dont think its a good idea to have these guys playing competitive basketball though. especially with people like exhawg out there who foul on purpose :p

Ginn looks like he is really starting to get bigger. Im guessing he is probably around 180. What do you guys think? I think 185 would be a good weight to be at by the time the season starts. Thats is if he really is weighing something like 180 now.

Well I think either way its a win situation for OSU obviously. I think if Ginn Gains 10 pounds it wouldn't hurt him, but also I really don't see him playing at a low weight being a factor. With him wanting to put on weight maybe he's gearing for defense???

Does anyone know what Miami (Oh) has coming back next year? I believe their QB betts is back right?

Ginn also wants to play on sundays. so regardless of whether he's gearing up for defense or not, he's gonna have to get bigger or he'll be murdered by Ray Lewis or someone else over the middle.

Ginn looks impressive, but Smith/Rehring are truly impressive. Holmes looks a little bigger, and was gonzo always taht big (he looked quite strong for only being in his first spring of tOSU ball)?

haha well the only people I believe that will be able to tackle Ginn will be a safter with a excellent angle or a CB on a screen pass! So Lewis has got to catch him first! None the less it'd be very beneficial for him to gain some weight.

I think 180-185 sounds like a good weight for him. Santana Moss is 185, tho he is 5'10 (not that different from Ginn at 6').

p.s. for whoever dinged me, I wanted to see if the guy posting about the bball game was legit. If he was, I was gonna give major props to him. Also, at least have the balls to sign your dings.

Ginn Sr. said on the radio the other day that his son weighs 177 and is eating every 2.5 hours trying to put on weight. I've heard in the past that on the average male build every extra inch of height equals about four pounds. 5'10 180 has the same build as 6'2 196

tidbits from BSB

may have already been posted somewhere....

From first day of winter conditioining

* tim shafer working out with the Dline (this i hadn't heard...surprising to me with depth that already exists here

* Roy hall with TEs (widely discussed already)

* Erik Haw looked to be in great shape...effortlessly navigated figure 8 drill, pittman was visably laboring

* Nate salley has been in frequent contact with EJ ...prays he'll get his grades in order and be back with team (sounds like this is legitimate concern)
