2006 Spring Game info/discussion

For those of you who've been there in the past when do I need to be in stadium for front row seats? I'm trying to plan departure for the trip but the wife will throw in some pit stops on the way so I want to stay a few steps ahead of her. She's a true BUCKEYE and will fight through the weather regardless, but she's still a woman so I have to take that into consideration for departure time. I'll stop by and grap a few shirts too.

Well I have heard of some people actually tailgating before the game. Most of that depends on the weather.

good question, I would like to get there early to land some good seats for photos. 2005 is not applicable when answering his question :p

Hopefully we can get a tailgate location a lot closer to the stadium this year, so that other people can stop by... especially unplanned.

I usually just take someone's spot down in AA at halftime. It's 1/4 empty because of people going to get something to eat. Plenty of good seats for the 2nd half.

The key is get someone on here that is a student that has a parking pass. Since most of the passes allow you to park in many of the closer lots weekends, and during games.

good call buckeyefool. 8496, search for spring game in the graphic forum, there was a thread of pics in there.

edit: some of the pics have expired since they were uploaded to imageshack. This year everyone should upload their pics to BP or another permanent image host.

I'm not going to be able to make my pilgrimmage to columbus this year. I'm hoping somebody will be able to get a torrent up of the game, so that we out-of-towners will be able so see it. Besides, it ought to help us keep ourselves occupied around here for at least a couple extra weeks that way.


Just a thought :wink:

this year we'll do it up right. Our torrent life is alive and well, we'll have some action shots, and barring sleet and heavy winds we should have a tailgater.

I hope you guys go to the game hb33! You need to call the shop about this game in April!
I'd like to join in on the tailgate if i may! I will not complain at all. Football is football in any weather.
I'll bring whatever anyone wants for the tailgate.:)
