This might just me, but I don't think we'll see a lot of upsets this year.

I think both conferences are incredibly top heavy(Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio in the west and Detroit, Cleveland, and Chicago in the East), which means the most intriguing and competitive series should be the 4/5 in the west and the 3/6 in the East(which also has the Vince Carter subplot which should be awesome).

Last year there were a lot of great series in the first round, but I think this year we'll see those match-ups in the second round and Conference Finals.

Detroit-Cleveland and Phoenix/San Antonio-Dallas could be out of this world series.

I hate to say it, but the Mavs are just too deep and way to good of a team to be denied again, although I think the Cavs will give them everything they want and who knows, maybe it's Cleveland's time? Please God??

yeah, i was just thinking that as i was looking at my picks. in our defense though, its not over. PHX was down 3-1 last year. GS is under a lot of pressure to finish off Dallas and every game that Dallas wins from here on out that pressure will intensify. If they don't get it done in game 5, i will go out on a limb and say that dallas will come back.
