Jackson is a joke.
How can he wonder why he continues to get techs? He should not even be in the game the way he acts when he something doesn't go his way. He honestly looks like he is about to snap.
And btw, he looked 10 times crazier then Artest did in the Pacers Pistons bullshit.

, Boozer created just as much contact, yet somehow its a technical on Barnes....at the very least its a foul.....technical...absolutely not...I don't even think Barnes committed a foul, let alone a technical
while boozer might have created just as much contact, he did not pull a player away from the basket while not making a play at the ball. to claim that he did not at least commit a foul is quite foolish. this should be clear as day to anyone who understands what types of contact are allowed.

I agree Jackson is a joke....dude is out of control w/ his complaining....his technical on the reach in was absurd though....I see worse reaching fouls every high school basketball game....he clearly made a move at the ball and got a T.........then Barnes gets hit w/ an awful technical foul for nothing at all...In fact Boozer should have gotten an offensive foul, yet Barnes gets a T for absoluetky nothing

Amare and Diaw won't be suspended.... but they should be. The NBA has serious credibility problems when it comes to policing itself. They tend to do what they believe is best in the short-term... i.e. ratings. But they ignore the long-term consequences of failing to apply a well-thought-out rule.

If they wanted exceptions to the rule, they should have put them in the rule. If the NBA fails to suspend these guys, they are basically saying that the league has zero integrity.

You called it...except I don't like this spineless move by Stern:
NBA commissioner David Stern has canceled a schedule appearance in Phoenix for Wednesday night's Game 5.

Come on, if you really feel you made the right call and that the NBA has made the right decisions throughout this series show up at the game. Avoiding it just looks like you are hiding something.

did anyone else like derek fisher's 180 spin on the ground without being called for traveling?

Very impressive!:wink2:

That has always amazed me. Guys dive for balls and slide on the ground after gaining possession, and almost never get called for traveling. It seems as though they want to encourage those 'hustle' plays.

I'll quote the rule. It's in Rule 12, Section 7-C. It doesn't say 'fight' and it doesn't say 'on the court'. Distance is a factor because it factors into 'immediate vicinity'.

http://www.nba.com/media/rule_book_2006-07.pdf

"Immediate vacinity" refers to the bench, not to the distance from the altercation. Therefore, if you stray away from the bench you are suspended, regardless of where on the court the fight is occurring.

Is there any worry that the Pistons are getting worn down again like they did in the Cavs series last year? I really hope the Cavs close out the Nets tonight so they can sit and watch the Pistons play the Bulls. In the little bit of the game that I watched last night I wasn't impressed by either team.

When I said distance was a factor, I was referring to distance from the bench.
