I remember cheering like crazy when the Spurs won their first championship, but now I regret it. When did they become the biggest group of bitches in the NBA? Does Duncan or Ginobli EVER think they commit a foul? Every time Duncan was stripped of the ball, I expected his eyes to pop out of his head because the refs only sometimes called the foul.

I was also surprised Fisher didn't get in a better shot on Ginobli there at the end...
It's Ginobili! Also, Timmy never commits fouls! It was you throwing projectiles at the SPURS last night...

heard on 1460 that the indy 500 rain delay coverage outdrew the spurs jazz game. wow...

Well you have to figure that the crowd drawn towards Nascar is going to continue to watch, and I would expect the Indy 500 to outdraw a conference finals game...

It would be about the same thing as the superbowl delay or maybe not that but I would say that Indy 500 is the second most watched sport televised event, or is that wrong, just a guess...Maybe National championship game...

You just don't want to go up against the World Cup finals:)

i dont think indy 500 and nascar are the same "crowd"

you dont find it crazy that a rain delay of over 3 hours had the same average rating as a conference finals basketball game?

Indy 500 is the one event that non-racing fans will watch. It's like the majors with golf or the grandslams with tennis. People who aren't tennis fans or golf fans will tune in.

I even watched some of the Indy race, including the rain delay. It's just the one racing event that non-fans will watch, even during a rain delay apparently.

Napolean pretty much summed it up...I didnt mean to throw nascar in there, this is just a big racing event and the type of people that watch this are not the same type that watch basketball, on a consistent basis...

I will agree and say that the ratings are not going to reach high status due to the Spurs and Utah being Western Conference teams and the series being basically a mistmatch...

I love TNTs broadcasts.

I always mute it when I'm watching ESPN/ABC unless Hubie Brown is doing it. I think he's the best color man doing the NBA currently.

TNTs Inside the NBA is also hilarious. The ESPN v. TNT hypothetical game matchups they did today after the game was funny, and you can always expect something funny to happen between Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley.

ABC is the worst though. I hate ABC games.

But yeah, nothing beats those TNT doubleheaders during the regular season.

Seriously... I think a webcam of NPR would be less borng.

How awful is that Pussycat Dolls intro they keep playing? Someone needs to tell disnespn that girly music does not belong in sports, no matter what you make them wear. Nearly as bad are the soundtracks they put to the mini-highlight videos.

Yeah, they've somehow managed to make me start missing the Black Eyed Peas.

That segment TNT did made it painfully clear how bad the cast of losers and ass clowns is that ESPN has assembled for NBA coverage. Hubie Brown is of course the one exception to that.

Jon Barry took the cake the other day when they were analyzing the results of the draft lottery and he suggested that the Blazers trade out of the top pick and Greg Oden in favor of picking up some veterans and trying to win now. Either he's an even worse analyst than he was a basketball player, or they were picking on the noob by making him be the one to run out that dumbass "devil's advocate" contrived debate bullshit that ESPN always pulls. I'll tell you what, if they'd let him run the Blazers, I'd gladly oblige him and send him David Wesley and Scot Pollard for that #1 pick.

I for one am really glad that TNT is doing the ECF...

The coverage has been outstanding...

I really would love to see them pick up more games during the regular season, and maybe try and do a aroudn the NBA type show that ESPN does, and have their analysts break things down...

I do like Greg Anthony and and Stephen A., but Chuck, Kenny, Ernie, and whoever else they have on there are always crackin' jokes, while doing a great job breakin' down the game...
