You know, with the whole Barwis crap and some of their other deluded crap they have going on, scUM fans have surpassed State Penn fans for my most hated hands down. At least psu fans can acknowledge our accomplishments, but these morons answer for everything is "Oh yeah...Barwis". Somebody in that thread actually said that tOSU was "shaking in their boots" and trying to play "catch up" to scUM's conditioning. Talk about the proverbial head in the sand. catch up?

That board (umgoblue) used to be fairly reasonable, but they've gone off the fucking deepend too with their Barwis-induced hysteria. There is not one thread where he isn't mntioned in some way, shape or form. Pure comedy. like I said earlier...fuck the whole lot of 'em.

I'll take our experience, talent, etc. over their apparent edge in conditioning any day of the week...

..I'll also take our RB(s), WRs, QB, defense, coach, etc.

Conditioning only gets you so far.

EDIT: Forgot about depth. It deserves not to be included in "etc."

There is no "edge", it's just them clinging to something in the hopes of turning their recently subpar performances around. Both Lichter and Barwis are tops in the field. scUM fantasy.

Precisely. Conditioning is very important, but it isn't a factor against a team of equal conditioning.

I know there's no edge. I was just saying that they can say they have a condition edge all they want. I'll gladly let them be delusional and be ok with them accepting that conditioning might be the only thing they have equal to/better than us.*

*I don't think their conditioning is better.

Sorry* it offends you when other fans get excited about their own team.

*actually not really.

you buckeye fans have to admit: the artical does sound more like their trying to play catch-up, or that thier trying to at least grab some of the attention that michigan has been getting in the S&C department. and the fact of the matter is in the 6 wins over michigan in the last 7 years (as you buck fans always like to bring up) osu has not blown out michigan. they have been close games, and those games where all with bigger and slower and underconditioned michigan teams. Theres a new system now, a new staff, and a new S&C program, is osu panicing just a littl??sure sounds like it to me.

Uh huh, after winning 4 in a row over scUM and coming off 2 NC appearances and now returning 20 starters, this OSU offseason is all about "playing catch-up" with the Rod squad... :roll2:

It's all whistling past the grave yard.

This Ohio State team (if healthy) could possibly hand the Wolverines a 21-28 point loss come November. I know that's not Tressel's style, but a banged up Beanie hung 200+ yards on a BETTER defense than will be on the field this year. I know that UM fans are saying "best D line and CB tandem in the country" but that's posturing more than anything else. There's not a player on either side of the ball that would start for Ohio State right now (maybe Tim Jamison) and they know it. That game in November could get out of hand in a hurry. They need something to hang their hats on and they have latched on to the hype that is Barwis and their S & C program. Think about it: How sad is it that they have crowed more about their S & C program than anything that will actually take place on the football field?

Losses to Utah, ND, Wisconsin, Illinois, PSU, MSU and Ohio State are going to make this a very long season for UM fans. But hey, their linemen are smaller and faster and they will be running to the line of scrimmage before every play so...:highfive:

Ohio State is where UM wants to be and that is unfamiliar territory for many of their fans.

EDIT: Our guys have seen the videos of Barwis and, well, they're kind of laughing at him!! Scroll down to the end of the "Wrath of Eric" section of the story!!

They're laughing!

I would like to know their 2-deep on the Dline. They have moved Vince Helmuth to the D-line???? Thats not good news if your a Michigan fan. That means they need anybody with a pulse there. Michigan lost both of their starting safeties from last season. They lost their two best linebackers. I guess Brown and Harrison are starters??? Linebacker???

The biggest issue Michigan will have this season on defense is depth. They will lose 2-3 players for a few games if not for the whole season. They do not have the experience or talent for that. The are hanging their hopes on a defense that has a good STARTING D-line and one good corner.

BTW Running a 4.13 40 don't mean crap when your playing corner if you are out of position all the time. Trent has always had the athletic ability just not the skill.

IMO RR is treating Michigan like WVU. Hes in for a suprise on how bad his players are gonna get beaten up over the span of a B10 schedule.
