From the mgoblog.com article
High-level, nationally powerful football is what RR is working on:

At the rate he is going, defensive coordinators/head coaches are going to figure him out before he gets it up to speed. Pretty soon what RR is working on is going to fall out of favor when the next flavor of the month comes around.

Also
RR will one day be where USC is
I believe the two run different offenses.

Well it appears they aren't all crazy:

"Tressel will never get where RR is going."
If RR wins 3 BCS games (including a NC) in his first five years as our head coach, I would be thrilled.
He'd also have to go 7-0 against OSU in the coming years to match Tressel's record in The Game.
Not to be a buzzkill, but RR won't even be close to matching Tressel's success in the best case scenario. I'd be happy with half of Sweatervest's accomplishments at this point.

Go Blue.

One sane apple doesn't cure the whole bunch.

Fuck Michigan.

Edit***

I just did the math on a few things. For RR to match what JT has done in his first 8 years he will have to do the following over the next 7:

Win 79 of his next 84 games to reach a win % of .822
Play for 3 of the next 7 NC's and win at least 1
Win 5 of the next 7 B10 championships including at least 4 in a row
Go 7-0 in The Game
Go to a BCS Bowl 6 of the next 7 years
Have a B10 win streak of at least 20 games
Have at least 1 Heisman winner

Yeah, you guys might want to start with goals like beating fucking Toledo first.

Along with a 28-game regular season winning streak.

Scout $ (Browns)

12/1

Browns DC Mel Tucker is interviewing for the Jets HC position. Also has the interest of another NFL staff (rumored to be the Lions).

UM fans are hoping they can snag him - and break into Ohio/Glenville - since current UM assistant Hopson does not seem eager to take the DC position (politics, power-struggle, etc).

No, these Buckeye fans understand at a subconscious level that Michigan is in a better place than they are (and the rest of the Big 10).

A Psych major no doubt, if arrogance transled into to talent on the football field they would have played in a bowl game this year and this article would have never been written.

I assumed that would just have to happen while RR is going 79-5 over the next 7 years. :slappy:

My bad, I messed up the math.

He only has to go 76-8 over the next 7 years to get to 79-17 which would be an 82.29 win %.

So in retrospect I can see the authors point. Thinking RR can win 90% of the games he plays for the next 7 years is completely reasonable. I mean look how many teams have played .900 ball for a 7 year span lately.
