I don't care who the AD is, as long as he gives Dickwad a 10 year extension, I am golden.

Hey it took Domino's forever to realize thier pizza sucked before coming out with that new crust and sauce recently, so I am hoping it takes him just as long to realize that RR is just as bad!

I think that this might be an astute hire. He will put his coaches and administrators under pressure to deliver results...or pizzas...their choice. I mean this quite seriously. I think he will shake out the rust. If you're RichRod, you now know you have one year.

Any way you slice it, problems up there have mushroomed, and if the staff doesn't have the onions to better mix the ingredients, they'll get hand-tossed out of there.

If you can't stand the heat, stay away from the pizza oven.

So, with this hire, does the major of choice for scUM football players go from General Studies/Kinesiology to the Culinary Art of Cardboard Pizza making and/or Safe Driving for Delivery Studies? Seems like a better fit to get them jobs after they graduate from the "Harvard of the west"

I don't see 6 wins next season. I see losses to UCONN, ND, MSU, Iowa, PSU, Wisconsin and Ohio State.

A 5-7 record in 2010 is a reasonable prediction. So is 7-5.

Here's an early look at TSUN's projected losses cited above:

UConn had a pretty good year. Each of their losses were by four points or less. After a two-point loss to Cincy, they finished the season with three wins. Both their QBs return, they lose their top WR and a TB to graduation. They lose a few starters on defense, but their top three tacklers return. If projecting a winner today, UConn would certainly be the favorite.

Notre Dame will certainly be in transition next year. Losing their QB and top receiver on offense and possessing a defense that already struggles, this matchup is difficult to project. TSUN will be playing at ND. This game will be especially important for both coaches; however, for RichRod, losing to a rebuilding ND will likely signal the end of his career at TSUN. Projecting a winner today is difficult.

MSU will still be mediocre next season, which means they should still be better than TSUN. They return most of their skill players on offense, but lose a good WR and three starting OL. On defense they lose quite a bit of starters (2 DE, LB, CB, S), and even more if Greg Jones leaves early. Sparty has to play this one in the Big House and there's little reason to be confident that either team's defense will be a factor. Predicting a winner now is risky, but MSU has to be slightly favored presently.

Iowa will still be solid because their defense will be. They lose a couple of LBs, but not much after that. Like MSU, they will be rebuilding their OL and lose a good WR, but retain their QBs, TBs, and their top WR. TSUN gets Iowa at home, but it won't matter. Unless an earthquake swallows up Iowa City, the Hawkeyes will be solid favorites right up to Oct. 16.

PSU will have the biggest rebuilding project in the conference. Two-thirds of their starters on both sides are currently seniors. Still, TSUN's past dominance of the Nits has been recently reversed and there is not enough evidence to expect change. This is not an automatic loss for TSUN, but PSU will play this one in Happy Valley and be favored.

Wisconsin should be the best team in the B10 after tOSU in 2010. You positively won't find a depth chart anywhere with less seniors. Wisky beat TSUN by three TDs this season and it won't be any closer next year.

tOSU will dominate TSUN in The Horseshoe. No further speculation required.

That puts them at 5-7 and, again, no bowl!!
I'm now hoping they win exactly 6 games. It'll be a completely awkward moment when the CEO of Dominos is up on the podium with Tater Tot and Rich Rod accepting the Little Caesar's Pizza Trophy.

Yeah, that would be awkward. The CEO of the worst tasting pizza chain accepting a trophy from the CEO of the second worst tasting pizza chain. Maybe they can exchange a few tips on how to make those cardboard rounds taste more like actual pizza crust while they are there.

Most people argue that there are only two popular pizza styles: New York style and Chicago style. From some odd reason, nobody defends "Detroit style" pizza.
