Tennessee could of gone DE, OLB, or CB. With Kyle Vanden Bosch signing with Detroit, they addressed the DE position first.

San Francisco gets good value here for CJ Spiller. I projected him to come off the board at 13 to San Fran.

In Spiller, the 49ers add a player who complements Frank Gore in a way I don't think Glen Coffee can. Spiller is a home run threat and should spell Gore and diversify the offense. He also provides an upgrade in the return game.

Iupati was one of the breakout stars at the Senior Bowl. He fits what Pittsburgh likes as an athletic but powerful guard who should help return the Steelers' running game to the upper half of the league. Steve Hutchinson comparisons are legitimate, who was drafted 17th overall 9 years ago.

p.s. I picked this selection too :lift:

Welcome Home Earl!!!

In a perfect confluence of need, value & talent we have Earl Thomas.

Earl, who grew up a stones throw from Houston will immediately join our secondary. His versatility was the deciding factor in this selection. Earl will initially be pencilled in as a FS but he is going to get a good look @ CB.

(P.S. I love you Mike Shanahan)

Entire draft schedule posted. After round 3, we will move to 8 picks per day in order to finish before the real draft. We can't speed up before that since the compensatory picks are announced at the end of march.

We're thrilled at the chance to bolster our OLB crew with Sean Weatherspoon and he was someone that we were targeting from the start of our draft prep.

Multi-year Big XII first team defender - he adds speed and coverage skills to a linebacker group that needed an upgrade on the outside.

He's exactly the type of player we need to deliver a vigorous and enthusiastic punch to the cock of every New Orleans Saint.
