Opinions on Matthew Rotheram, OL from North Olmsted?

2010 Matthew RotheramNorth Olmsted

Looks like a tOSU-caliber player to the naked eye.

I don't know...I think he is a high d-I player, 3 star...Hard to tell considering the kids across form him don't look all that good...BUt he does show the ability to move off the line...At times tho he doesn't use the punch very well he kinda leans into guys then gets his feet going as he is a bigger kid than the guys he is going against...

Gotta like his size tho...Feet look pretty solid as well...Don't see an offer from us tho, as we already have 4 out there, and I think Donnal would be next in line...

I was wondering if he might be a candidate as a guard. Seems like Donnal, James, Henderson, and Gjere(forgot how to spell his last name) are all tackles.

My personal opinion is that Rotheram is going to get a real solid look come camp time, ala John Prior this year. He is a kid that has great movement, great size, and seems to have a nasty disposition. He is always looking to knock someone around. However, I gotta agree with 40 and say I like Donnal next after Norwell and James. I see Rotheram as a risk but one that could be worth it down the road. LOTS of talent in Ohio at OL that should get looks, and I see it as such right now:
1. Norwell
2. James
3. Donnal
4. Rotheram
5. T. Miller
6. Shofner

Appreciate the responses. Anyone know who the QB is in this video?

Maybe it's the uniforms but he reminds me a little of Chris Leak.

Olentangy Orange's QB is Corey Joe (Branden's nephew, or cousin, or something like that) and he is listed at around 5-10 185. He might get some Division I-A attention as a DB.

Wad, do you foresee Black being on OSU's radar as a possible DT offer?

Haven't seen enough of him yet to say but I plan on checking out some film because his offer list is starting to get fairly impressive. We've been tracking him on RecruitingPlanet and I know many people are concerned about the lack of DT offers out there right now.
