The future looks bright...

We are set up for much success. We will be able to pick someone good. Here is why:

1. We are obviously still a top-level destination job in college football.

We are not losing out on a coach candidate to a lesser college program (maybe the NFL, but that is the hierarchy). The last job opening we had was filled with the coach of the #2 team in America (but right after they lost, so it might have fallen).

When you can attract coaches from other college teams in the Top 10..... you are a destination job.

2. Brandon just said we would pay top dollar. We have never done that before. This alone will attract a lot of the best coaches.

3. The recent upgrade in facilities puts us near the top of college football.

4. Denard Robinson and a lot of (young) talent already on board.

5. Finally, Dave Brandon is being deliberate and is not going to make a quick decision. We are in good hands with a very successful decision-maker.

There is no way we get a bad coach. Even our "safety plan" a/k/a Brady Hoke isn't horrible.

IMO - We get a great coach.

Was just over on Stadium and Main looking to see the carnage.... Some fun stuff if you wanna go look (Learned the term "RichGodders" for those Beaverites who made excuse after excuse for Dick Rod).... but...

"Those who stay will be Champions"

OK... I get it. A great former coach once said this as a rally cry when said coach was pretty much himself a "nobody" at the time (that is to say, he would only later achieve his fame) But....

what the fuck?

Do these idiots realize that when Bo said that - he had a fucking plan on HOW to deliver on this pledge? It's not just a few words that you speak and all of a sudden it magically comes to pass.

Morons.

4 and 5 make me laugh. D Rob is good, but I wouldn't say there is "a lot of young talent" up there. Also, being deliberate is one thing but going into the meeting with Rich Rod not knowing if you were going to fire him is absolute stupidity.

i'm never surprised by anything that those fools say on that board. I especially like the bold predictions of harbaugh being named their new coach by tomorrow. apparently, all the nfl interviews he's doing are for show. they will also be quite upset about their proclamations that michigan is too good of a job for Hoke.

Which perfectly explains Schiano passing on the job to stay at Rutgers.
