Blake Griffin in slam dunk contest?


Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin will take part in the slam dunk contest during this year's NBA All-Star weekend, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Washington Wizards center JaVale McGee, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka and Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings also are in the field, according to the newspaper.
This season's All-Star festivities are being held at Staples Center. The slam dunk contest is slated for Saturday, Feb. 19.

not sure about jennings and why he is in there...especially since he just had surgery for a fractured foot but whatever...blake griffin in the dunk contest is going to be awesome...finally someone who can freaking dunk being in the contest even tho its lost most of its esteem and whatever else...hey at least its better then watching nate robinson every year

I've heard of two of them. Jennings and Griffin. It's sad, really. The NBA Dunk Contest used to be an awe-inspiring event with the likes of MJ, Vince Carter, Dr. J, etc. etc. And now, I couldn't tell you if I'd rather watch this or the MLB All-Star Game. :(

Javal Mcgee and griffin will be good...ikba is a shot blocker and jennings is a PG...hopefully either jennings or ikba drops out and someone else like eric gordon steps in...but yah the dunk contest used to be so awesome back when the stars would do it...now all the super star pussies are too scared to do it and get owned by a Ikba and ruin their image
