no we won't, if this team goes 13-0 the will make the national title

I wish I could share your optimism

We were the only undefeated team in FBS this season and we didn't make #2.

We won every game this season, and we still dropped in rankings occasionally.

If we squeak by our non conference slate, you can be sure they will drop our rankings.

I don't think UFM is going to let his foot off anyone's throat next season...he knows we have to remove all doubt that we deserve to be in the BCSCG.

UFM admitted closing down the offense against Wiscy in 2012, and my impression was that he did also against tSUN, but I agree with Mililani that he prefers to stay wide open and would much rather score fast. I speculate that Wiscy action was due to challenges in the passing game and lack of play makers. I expect 2014 to be far different.

Agreed, because I'm not sure he shut things down because he didn't want to score more. If he did shut things down, it was probably to protect the lead...Tressel ball.

For the record I wasn't doubting maximumblitz I was just curious to see exactly what was said.

Do you still have the original quote for that? I'd be interested in reading it.

http://theozone.net/football/2012/Michigan/MeyerOpenOffense.html

In reference to Wisconsin stopping Miller run game by bringing up the safeties:

?Then we kind of tightened down a little bit because we figured a turnover would lose that game.? In other words, Meyer and Tom Herman resorted back to some good ol? fashion Tressball on the road against the Badgers, but that?s not going to get it done against a Michigan team that can put points on the board in a hurry. Especially when No. 16 is on the field. ?Obviously, I've got to take responsibility because Tom and I called that game, and it was not the?? his voice trailed off. ?We want to open this thing up. We have to against this team we're playing. We have to open this offense up and trust that good things are going to happen.?
