2012 Rivals/Scout/etc. National & Regional Rankings

I'm guessing that when you typed that posted, you checked the spelling and grammar pretty carefully. Hmm?

Of course not.

Why would I care if MY grammar, spelling, punctuation, word choice or capitalization are correct? Part of being a nazi about such things includes being a nazi. As such, one doesn't worry about a little thing like hypocrisy (or however the fuck you spell it).

Who let the Ann Arbor physics major in?

So the number is 25. Or 28, if you trim. But you can apply early enrollees toward the previous class. If that class has room. Which means under 25. Or 28. Or if you're in Mississippi, 33. Or if you're USC and you have a 10 scholarship reduction, it's an even 30.

Again, recruiting numbers ≈ logic.

(Couldn't figure out the "does not equal" sign, so I just used the "approximately" sign)

Hey nazi dude, did you notice my spelling error?

I agree that recruiting numbers =/= logic. I do not agree that comparing them to quantum mechanics makes this point.

So, how about those national recruiting service rankings, huh?

What I meant was that they do not make sense to me. Let's not split hairs here. If I were to say "it's all Greek to me," I would hope people wouldn't say "well Greek is an actual language that an indigenous people speak, and not a system of mathematics, yadda yadda yadda.." etc

This may seem hard to believe, but I really am so clueless that I missed that point. I do better with quantum mechanics than with people, so...

How would that even be possible? At 32 commits already, where are they going to put new additions? Heck, where are they going to put the ones they already have? As far as I'm concerned, recruiting numbers are in the same class of ridiculous math as quantum theory.

We ourselves had six commits under this class enroll early, so they won't count towards the 2012 total and so we could have signed 31 for this class while staying under the NCAA-mandated 25-per-year max (had we had room within the overall 85-scholly limit). Not sure how many early enrollees DuhU has for this class or if any will go the college prep school route.

Well, I figured it would be good for my health to end the day with a good laugh. So naturally, I checked ESPN's recruiting rankings. Let's take a peak at Ohio State and Georgia, shall we?

Five Stars:
Ohio State 1, Georgia 1. Ohio State's is ranked 4th in the country, Georgia's is ranked 5th. Ohio State wins.
Four Stars:
Ohio State 11, Georgia 9. Ohio State wins.
Three Stars:
Ohio State 12, Georgia 8. Ohio State wins.

Final rankings: Georgia 5th place, Ohio State 6th place

So, in ESPN's own recruiting rankings, based on the ratings that ESPN themselves assigned to each player, Ohio State is higher than Georgia, but STILL ranked below them.
