"We evaluated this organizationally. The Big House Big Heart run has become a challenge to fit into our stadium,"
More than 15,000 runners have participated in the event and raced 10- and 5-kilometer and 1-mile paths throughout downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan's campus.
Michigan Stadium is the largest stadium in the United States with an official capacity of 109,901,[6] but has hosted crowds in excess of 114,000.
Well...we know they're not teaching basic math skills in Ann Arbor...

Michigan's Lewan in middle on stay-or-go decision

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan has put himself in a position to make a lot of money this spring.
Lewan isn't sure if he's ready to cash in on his production and potential just yet.
The Associated Press All-America first-team selection is undecided about whether to stay for his senior season, and fifth year in college, or to enter the NFL draft.
''I'm leaning right in the middle,'' Lewan said in a telephone interview with the AP on Tuesday. ''To potentially be a top-five or top-10 pick is tough to pass up, but there's nothing like being in college because it's a great opportunity you only get once. There are pros and cons either way and I'll weigh them all after the bowl season.

Harvard of the Midwest. Pfft.

Idiot. :shake:

I haven't understood all the praise over Lewan this season. The handfull of times I have watched them play this year he has looked good at best. That lines inability to run the ball against any decent defense seems to reinforce this observation. Still he has made AA teams this post-season. I saw a mock-draft a few days ago that didn't have him in the top 6 tackles taken. I will post a link if I can remember where i saw it. Just one guys opinion, but Lewan looks likes a guy that was annointed a preseason #1 draft grade and his media buildup has followed that. Dominant play has not.

He has more problems in pass protection that a first-team All-American should have, but he is very effective at moving quickly and blocking guys on bubble screens and other plays that get the ball outside in a hurry. Those plays stand out in a casual film review. It will be interesting to see if some team thinks he's worthy of being taken in the first half of round 1 when they analyze every play.

Nice imput '73. 65 snaps against the SC d-line, and his resulting performance in that game will have alot to say on whether he comes out, and where he will be drafted, imo.
