I've been reading some tsun fan blogs and honestly it's depressing. They are trying so hard to convince themselves that they have the coaching staff and players in place, even though it's clear to any objective eye that they do not.

I'm not even taking pot shots, either. Well, actually I am, but I also know how it feels. I'm a Golden State Warriors fan and my whole life as a Warrior fan has been trying to talk myself into believing our prospects, players and coaches are better than they are. And then the season starts.

To take this one step farther, I was interested to see the offers that each player had since star rankings can be overrated. Each player will have the top three offers listed next to their names.

QB:
UM - Wilton Speight - Miami (FL) and NC State
OSU - Stephen Collier - Boston College, Cincinnati, and Wake Forest

RB:
OSU - Parris Campbell - MSU, Tennessee, and Indiana

WR:
UM - Drake Harris - Alabama, FSU, and OSU
OSU - Curtis Samuel - Alabama, Florida, and USC
OSU - Noah Brown - Notre Dame, USC, and Va Tech
OSU - Johnnie Dixon - Alabama, Clemson, and Florida
UM - Freddy Canteen - Tennessee, Maryland, and Rutgers
OSU - Terry McLaurin - Boston College, Indiana, Cincinnati
UM - Maurice Ways - Iowa, Rutgers, and Kansas

TE:
UM - Ian Bunting - FSU, Notre Dame, and OSU

OT:
OSU - Jamarco Jones - FSU, Florida, and Michigan
UM - Mason Cole - Alabama, FSU, and OSU
OSU - Kyle Trout - MSU, Cincinnati, and WVU
UM - Juwan Bushell-Beatty - FSU, Florida, and Miami (FL)
OSU - Brady Taylor - Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, and Kentucky

OG:
OSU - Demetrius Knox - Alabama, FSU, and Michigan
OSU - Marcelys Jones - Alabama, FSU, and UCLA

DE:
UM - Lawrence Marshall - OSU, Florida, and Oklahoma
OSU - Jayln Holmes - Clemson, FSU, and USC
OSU - Darius Slade - Nebraska, Penn State, and MSU

DT:
UM - Bryan Mone - BYU, UCLA, and Stanford
OSU - Dylan Thompson - Clemson, Arkansas, and Tennessee
UM - Brady Palante - Appalachian State (lol)

LB:
OSU - Sam Hubbard - Miami (FL), Michigan, and Stanford
OSU - Kyle Berger - Michigan, UCLA, and Arkansas
OSU - Dante Booker - Michigan, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma
OSU - Raekwon McMillan - Alabama, Auburn, and FSU
UM - Michael Ferns - OSU, Alabama, and Stanford
UM - Chase Winovich - OSU, Oregon, and FSU
UM - Jared Wangler - LSU, MSU, and PSU
UM - Noah Furbush - Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Nebraska

CB:
UM - Jabrill Peppers - Alabama, OSU, and Auburn
OSU - Damon Webb - Alabama, LSU, and Michigan
OSU - Marshon Lattimore - Alabama, Michigan, and Oregon
UM - Brandon Watson - Boston College, Rutgers, and UConn

S:
OSU - Erick Smith - Alabama, Michigan, and MSU
OSU - Malik Hooker - Michigan, PSU, and Arizona

PK:
OSU - Sean Neurnberger - none listed

What I gather from this:
1) Michigan won 7 head-to-head battles while OSU won 9. OSU also won 8 head-to-head battles with Alabama.
2) We got some really good players on D. Just look at those other offers that our recruits had.
3) UM's class is small and top-heavy. OSU would love to have players like Peppers, Harris, Mone, and Cole, but, outside of that, nothing. Even in the battles we lost (like with Marshall, Ferns, and Winovich), we upgraded by replacing with better talent (Holmes, McMillan, and Berger).
4) Our biggest reaches are Collier, McLaurin, and Taylor. Even so, they all possessed solid BCS offers and wanted nothing more than to be Buckeyes. No one is out of place.
5) Between the talent level and the character (#Dream14), I have never been more excited for a class to get on campus.

EDIT: This could be in the recruiting discussion instead, if the mods prefer.

Colin cowherds show had a brief mention of NSD, and he said he spoke with guys who provided rivals and 247 with info, and they said scUM didn't have close to a QB of the future. Shane Morris doesn't have any touch on the ball and can't read defenses and speight has terrible mechanics. And that cHoke is on the clock.

I like the sound of that. That being said, Cowturd is a jackass
