2014 TSUN Football News

I think both defenses are better, but so is your offense, while UM's has regressed. I'm thinking 35-10, osu. With a garbage time TD for UM.

I'd be very surprised if Ohio State only scores 35 against any of the next 3 teams. Of course, I was expecting something similar to a 63-14 beatdown against Penn State. Anything can happen. I'm expecting The Game to be something like 52-24. The bad guys have played Ohio State close for the past few years - at least for as long as Hoke has been there.

Minnesota forecast is currently a high of 27 degrees with a 35% chance of snow.

If OSU can't utilize all of its offense, or Barrett's talents, breaking 35 may pose a challenge.

Ohio State will get some scores off of fake safeties returned for field goals. Minnesota will block the extra points, and punt right away, which will be returned for successful onside kicks. No touchdowns, though.

How does your "scientific logic" and your "weather forecasts" play into that "prediction"?

It wasn't particularly warm in East Lansing last Saturday. I don't know the temp for sure, but I recall them saying it was going to be 32 degrees by the end of the game. Sure, 27 is a tad colder, but I'm not sure it makes much of a difference.

News flash from Larry Foote:

That, however, wasn’t the most interesting part of Foote’s interview, which took a bizarre turn when the talk came to the problems under Hoke and the coach’s recruiting tactics.

“They better change up their recruiting. They better get some (coaches) in there that can get some NFL talent. Like I said before, Michigan better go back to the ‘hood. They got too many trust-fund babies in there, and they look like that when they’re playing. They got guys out there that are just happy, they’re happy they’re at Michigan, they’re losing and smiling. And that’s just not Michigan football. And that’s got to change.”

Just sayin': That's just about "on par" with John Cooper's initial comments when he first took over at Ohio State: "There's too many slow white guys"::rofl:
