    • Some curious match ups, but what else is new? Akron got a bid to play on smurf turf, the Juggalos will spend Christmas Eve in Hawaii, and of course the Buckeyes drew Notre Dame in the desert, again.

    Bowling Green beat Northern Illinois, yet the Huskies are going to San Diego to battle the Boise truckers while the Falcons got sent to Mobile to play Georgia Southern. Who got the better deal?

    Indiana get to play Duke in Yankee Stadium. Michigan got handed a gift in the punchless Florida Gators, while Northwestern play Tennessee - I really wish those match ups were switched. Give the nerds a better chance to win and scUM a greater chance to lose.

    Bert's hogs were treated kindly, getting a 5-7 Kansas State team. Speaking of 5-7, Nebraska will play UCLA and give the Huskers a shot to be the first 5-8 team in B1G history.

    Art Briles may be crying again after his Bears play North Carolina - will he even have a QB? Memphis get a shot at beating two SEC schools in one season with a game against Auburn.

    Then we got a Peach Bowl I wanted to see - Houston versus Free Shoes. I'd love to see Herman take down Jimbo. Finally, Wisconsin will go to California to take on USC in a Rose Bowl Lite. Too bad they couldn't play that game in Green Bay.

    #1 & #2 are CFP, duh.

    #3 is the Fiesta Bowl like there was any other choice.

    #4 Rose Bowl

    #5 & #6 Alamo & Russell Athletic Bowls because nobody likes defense.

    The Peach Bowl came in at #7 which beat out the Sugar Bowl at #8.

    Other Notables:

    Temple vs Toledo at #10, BG vs GA Southern at #11, Northwestern vs Tennessee at #14, TTUN vs Flo-Rida at #21, PedSU vs UGA at #26, and of course the B1G has a couple of 5-7 teams going bowling.

    I love college football as much as the next guy, and will probably watch too many of these, but can we please for the love of all that is holy cut 8-10 of these bowls for next year?

    I didn't notice two MWC teams in a bowl. At least they didn't play each other this season. I hope it doesn't become a trend, but when they keep adding bowl games...

    If only Congress hadn't passed that damn federal law requiring all of us to watch...:sad2:
