F Bama. F that a-hole of a coach who stepped over a player having a seizure. F that jackhole who was an average Big 10 coach. Hopefully Urbs can break the jinx and lead us to the first 'official' win over the SEC in a bowl.

Maybe I should go... I haven't seen our boys lose in person since UT 2005.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Bama is a terrific team. In particular, I was wondering about their OL. It seems to me that they are good, but not 2009 good. What do your guys think about their OL vs. our DL matchup?
Bullshit about getting ahead of ourselves. I'm not playing in either game, I'm not coaching. I don't have a responsibility to avoid looking past anyone. As a fan, that opportunity is exciting.

Let's not spend the next month tempering hype for the sake of appearances.

That being said, I'm no more impressed with Bama this year than I have been with Michigan State. I think they're very similar teams in terms of strengths and weaknesses.

Watching Bama this year, they've been beat on the edges by teams with speed, they're weak in the secondary. This plays to our strengths.

Alabama's pass game is terrifying. That can't be denied, we won't be able to force the issue by denying the run like we did with MSU or Wisconsin. With a month to prepare the D Line and secondary we can only hope to contain Amari Cooper and TJ Yeldon.

It's obvious by now that this team plays on emotion. When the juices are flowing high this team in nigh unbeatable, that's no stretch.

The question is how well the coaching staff can keep this team hyped while still focused.

Whoever wins this game wins it all I think.....so let's just go ahead and win it.

Bama does a great job on the outside rush, thankfully we run very well in the interior. Cardale will be able to stretch them and keep them honest....if we can block well enough to release our TE's we can hit some seams for big gains.
