2016 CFB Conference Championship Week Open Thread

His hate for us is hilarious. He was saying Ohio State shouldn't be in before they beat Michigan. He can't justify Penn State's SOS, or their glaring non conference loss. Only thing he could say was "well, Pitt also beat Clemson." Pittsburgh has 4 losses, let's stop pretending losing to them doesn't mean anything. Hell, the reason Clemson is behind Ohio State currently is because of that loss to Pitt. Why would the committee want to put a second team that lost to Pitt into the playoff? Especially at the expense of a 1 loss team with the best resume of any team not named Alabama.

The whole debate with Ohio State vs. Penn State is bizarre to me. We had a tougher schedule and we play in the same conference. It would be like arguing the Dolphins beat the Pats in their head to head match ups but even though New England has a better record they don't deserve to go to the playoffs.

I keep getting totally confused. Every time on espn Scott van pelt says "booger" I expect to see harbllllow and instead it's some guy named McFarland.
Don't make fun of the Boog...he took a lot of shit on the Championship Drive from Metro Kanell and Fat Boy Matich for saying OSU should be in no matter who won the B1G title game

Sarcasm aside, this may be the biggest BP understatement of all-time ie the Buckeye hatred across the nation is second to none. Yes Virginia, greater than the hatred for 'bama because who the hell cares about the regressive state of Alabama.

ok, ok, the people of Alabama care about their "dynamic" state.

And as FDR said quite eloquently, we welcome their hatred!
Meh, Notre Dame hatred puts our hatred to shame

After sleepIng on it I do believe Penn State should join Bama and tOSU as the 3 teams in and the debate should be Clemson vs Washington for final spot. Yes each of them have only one loss but that's due in large part to them being in the bottom 2 conferences. And neither of them has a win that's as impressive as Penn States over tOSU.

I'm leaning that way too. I thought no chance does Penn State get in unless they destroy Wisconsin before the game. Even last night I didn't think much of it, but Penn State overcame a fluke bad-snap fumble-6 and some boneheaded coaching decisions in the 1st half. What they did in the 2nd half was destroy Wisconsin.

That team is really playing well right now. 9 in a row.

I'm thinking they will throw Washington a bone. Figure harbaugh will throw a hissy fit and Michigan will sue the committee when they don't get in. And Penn State.....oh boy, that will be an epic meltdown. If we get in, which I'm confident, and they don't, which I'm equally confident.

They'll be over at JoePa's grave on prayer rugs.....then off to the showers.
