2017-2018 B1G Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

Something is going on in Lincoln Nebraska and is sort of sounds like Columbus Ohio last year because 4 players are transferring from Tim Miles program and their names are not Mitchell, Harris, Giddens, or Grandstaff. With these 4 transfers, the Nebraska basketball program is taking a huge hit.

A player is also transferring from Wisconsin but it is not 4 players.

Talk about screwing up a regular-season basketball schedule just leave it to the Commissioner of the conference to change where they play the Big Ten tournament games. I wonder why they did not make the change from the Big East play a couple of their regular-season games in early December

The biggest change to Ohio State's schedule will come in the first week of December. The Big Ten moving its conference tournament to New York's Madison Square Garden has forced a change to the conference regular season schedule.

MSG will host the Big East Tournament the week before the NCAA Tournament, which means the Big Ten has to play its tournament a week earlier than usual. Because of that, the Big Ten has to eliminate a week from the traditional regular season slate. So Big Ten teams will each play two games (one home, one away) in the first week of December. Teams will either play Friday-Sunday (Dec. 1-3), or Saturday-Monday, before returning to non-conference play.

Are we sure the B1G can't just fit their games around the Big East? The 12 AM to 12 PM slot was taken?!? Lol

Nothing regarding Ohio State basketball but here is a national record held by a Ohio high school team
Most Free Throws Made Consecutively (Quarter): 20
Mineral Ridge's Bobby Davis got to the free throw line a lot on February 9, 1980. At one point, he was able to hit 20 free throws in a row in the same quarter.

Most Free Throws Made Consecutively (Team, single game): 36
Coaches hate missed free throws. In 1979, Johnstown-Monroe's coaching staff must have been loving life as their players made 36 straight free throws in one game.

So, this is Michigan States league to take, right?

1. MSU
2. Purdue
3. Minnesota?

Middle seems like a cluster.
I think Minny:smash: might give Purdue a run for the second spot. Agree after the first three. Maybe the Mildcats at #4 but they will probably lose some games that they should not. Almost forgot about Wiscy but how far can Happ take them.
