Game Thread 2017 B1G Championship Game: OSU vs. Wisconsin - 12/2/17 @ 8:00 ET (FOX)

To me it's all about playing the percentages... Are they more likely to beat you throwing the ball or running the ball? We know that answer is running the ball so take it away 100% at all costs.

It's highly unlikely Hornibrook is going to go for 300 yards passing with 3TD's and 0 INTs. I mean it could happen but it's very unlikely so you bet that he can't do just that IMO.

Stack the box, shut down the freshman, and force Hornibrook to press. When Alex presses he tends to throw interceptions and that will just make them press even more (leading to most likely more turnovers). I can't stand when we act like a offense is dangerous at both facets (running and passing) and insist on playing to stop both. To me I'd rather take away what they do very well 100% instead of taking away everything semi effectively. I know you leave yourself open that way to big plays but when you out man basically every team (this one included) you should be able to do that.

To me the LB's coverage issues look like a group that has been taught to play run first then react to pass.

How else do we account for watching them let the TE/Back release so freely time and time again?

As far as playing the percentages goes, again, Iowa. Even the most pedestrian of offenses and average of QB's, not named Okorn, can hit a wide open TE a high percentage of the time.

The OSU offense is going to have to score 30+ because the defense is going to be gashed imo.

It could be partially schematic, but baker is frequently not giving proper effort and tends to loaf around despite being the most gifted LB on the field.
IMO he's gone this off season and while I think he's immensely talented I think he will have wasted this year with his effort. Give me Pete Warner all day next year after he puts on the Mickey 15 this off season.

I have a feeling though personally that this will be one of the best performances of the year. I don't know why but I have the same feeling this week that I did in 2014 even though that Wisconsin team had the #2 defense (#1 this year) and had Melvin Gordon going for 2k yards (Taylor at 1800). I would not be the slightest bit surprised if the talent that we bring sort of shocks Wisconsin due to who they've played all year. With us having played Scum, Iowa, and MSU who are similar should leave us prepared.

If Bake comes out and gives up a early TD count me in the crowd that hopes that UFM has the stones to sit him the rest of the way.

I get a little why people are saying he is gone after the year...but teams are going to turn on the tape and that day 1 selection is out the door.

I had to find a spot for 8 mo fo's so I was able to get section 522 row 1 for something less than the GDP of a small 3rd world nation. Seats look decent with a good view. I usually spend the money and get down close but 8 tickets is a big number.

My Cbus ticket guy is going to see what he can do about finding me 2 sets of 4 in a better spot. If he does I'll just sell these.

See you guys there

I got 2 in section 218 not a broker just a mom of a Buckeye alumni

Do you have someone lined up to buy them? I ask, because they're not exactly flying off the online brokers.

Wisconsin hasn't faced an offense anywhere in the stratosphere of the Buckeyes offense. That alone appears to be a massive mismatch. That said, this team is prone to shaky starts, and I don't know who is showing up: Jekyll or Hyde.

We should win this game, but I'm still nervous for it.
