Fantasy 2017 BPCFFB II Season Thread

This may be some kind of record. I'd have to go back and look to be absolutely positive, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever had every single one of my active players score in double-digits.

Sure it's as normal as air to lots of you guys, but it's a novelty to me.
USF completely dismantling Temple while Flowers only threw for 97 yards wasn't a good start, and it only continued into today. Nice win.

I won't believe it until all the games are final. As Fantasy Football goes, I'm sort of Iowa.

It was surprising to see that kind of low production out of Flowers. Pretty sure there were games last year where he was good for @50 pts. for me.

I was pretty screwed when my 3rd and 4th option RBs both had byes this week. Wisconsin's RB was a nice acquisition, and Minnesota's RB has been pretty consistent as well. Had to re-acquire Oregon's backup who was poaching goal line carries away from Freeman but hasn't done shit tonight.

To top things off I can't find consistency at TE to save me the last two seasons.

tl;dr I suck.

Maybe I do better when I don't have any choice. Before I picked up another QB, I realized I had one with a bye week and that it worked out that the next two weeks my QBs had to play Alabama. Then, after picking up a new one, I ended up with a bye and an injury, plus an RB with a bye, and a WR with an injury. At least it saved me from the maddening circumstance of having about a hundred points sitting on my bench while I lost by 50.

Going into this matchup: "what the hell is she doing starting a Wake QB and WR"

Coming out of the matchup: "God damnit, I suck"

You overlooked my Wake TE--who I wouldn't have played, except I kinda needed Andrews in there, too, as WR.

It wasn't intentional, for certain, to play 3 from the same team. Just worked out with what was available. It was definitely a potential to get royally screwed, if the team was on the short end of a rout. I was really lucky. This time.

I just love, no matter how much I search, I can never find definitive information on whether a player is 100% or expected to see significant playing time.

Gave up and put Stanley Morgan on my roster--now watch him spend the whole game dressed but on the bench.

Unbelievably, with my limited choices with multiple byes, I may just end up losing to what looks to be--barring last-minute adjustments--a six-man roster. Freakin' Rudolph is probably gonna put up forty+ points all by himself. :smash:

That won't be embarrassing or anything.

Whoa. I knew taking a WR I was fairly unfamiliar with in the 2nd Rd would eventually pay off.

OK, I give the fuck up.

In addition to all my early season carnage, I've broken my quarterbacks two weeks in a row.

Out of compassion for all collegiate student-athletes, this needs to be my last season.
