CFB Weekly Thread 2017 CFB Week 12 Open Thread

I'm pulling for Purdue. It's been awhile, and they won at Iowa. Let them get their reward.
I'll probably lean that way because Jeff Brohm is a good story. But I like Tom Allen too and what he's done with IU's defense has been amazing. Plus there's the East vs. West thing and it's better for our division if IU wins. I don't really care either way. I'll just be rooting for a good, competitive game.

I posted this in Simple Jim's thread, but it's too good not to share everywhere. The bloom sure seems to be off the Harbrau rose...

I've been reading this off and on all evening.

Thanks! Great late game reading.

Give me a 3-9 season every once and a while if we win like MSU does. Jesus Christ, they have a playoff appearance. Come the fuck on.

Think about this statement, from a scummer. They really are a beaten and abused people. Almost feel bad for them. Almost.

If someone beats OU in their next 2-4 games, I hope that team does every single vile thing to Mayfield he's done this season and then some. For instance, don't just plant a flag....plant it up his ass. Kick him in the balls and sacrifice a roughing the passer penalty. Rape him every which way to Sunday.

Any chance we jump ND after their near fuck up with Navy?

ND is irrelevant. Try not to look at the CFP as a poll. They haven't operated like one. They look at your entire schedule each week, which is why fans lose it when their team wins and yet drops. We're used to "poll logic" where once you've been rewarded for that perceived big win in September there's never a correction when that ranked-at-the-time team ends up going 4-8. The CFP folks have been making such corrections.

If we win out and ND wins out, they ain't getting in ahead of us.
