Bigger worry to Ohio State is Notre Dame.

If ND spoils any conference it won't be B10 unless there is a melt down creating 2 loss leaders. They surely wouldn't spoil it for the Bucks if we won out. I can easily see Pac12 being left out of the playoffs regardless, and if ND were to slip into the playoffs it would probably be at the expense of B12 (championship game be damned) or the ACC.

right now the eventual PAC 12, B12 and ACC champs have a lot more reason to worry about a playoff snub than the B1G or the SEC.

Being lost in all this is the fact that Illinois lost to Rutgers. By 11. At home.

Holy smokes is that program in shambles.

I don't think they could win a division in the MAC this year.

Notre Dame will play SC, Stanford, NC State, and Miami, so if they make it it will be at the expense of the ACC or PAC 12. Big Ten will not miss the playoff barring chaos and every team in the East division having two losses.
